Municipal elections: Public and private educational institutions of Sindh will remain closed on Saturday

In view of the second phase of local body elections in Sindh on January 15, public and private educational institutions of the province will remain closed on Saturday.

According to the Education Department of Sindh, public and private schools and colleges of Sindh will remain closed on Saturday, January 14, staff in Karachi and Hyderabad divisions will perform election duty.

Secretary School Education Ghulam Akbar Laghari and Secretary College Education Ahmed Bakhsh Narejo issued a formal notification. This notification has been issued by the Sindh Education Department on the instructions of the Election Commission.

A general holiday has been announced in schools and colleges in Thatta district tomorrow in view of the holding of municipal elections.
